HAIR , ICC and World Cricket
Recent umpiring SNAFU created by Daryll Hair has come as a boon to cricket news straved public and newspapers. Newspapers have come up with innovative headlines as reported by Hindu. Headlines includes Bad Hair Day, Hairy Incidents, Pakista demands Hair Cut, Hair comes trouble to pakistan in the cross-Hair. Hair has not improved his image a wee bit by demanding 1/2 million dollars from ICC to wriggle out of this controversy created by himself!A case of having your cake and eating it too? Its not that HAIR is not without supporters. Supporters include Australian Prime Minister and Cricket Icon Steve Waugh. Most Australian cricketers being inherently racist (just ask South African cricketer Amla and Dean Jones) it would have been a surprise if these honourable men had not come to the aid of their countryman. With Australian Cricketers and Umpires the modern day Darth Vaders (Empire strikes back?) when will Asian Cricketers/Administrators shed their inhibitions and seize control of ICC? PS: My headline would have been more Jamse Bond 'ish, Hair today, gone tomorrow.

Ancient Indian Vedic Astrology correct?
As per Indian Astrology based on ancient vedic textbooks Pluto is not considered as a Planet. Its considered as a Upagraha or a minor planet.Looks like western science is playing catchup. :)Also, MERCURY is also not considered as planet, while Sun and Moon are.So should we wait for another clarification from Astronomey Society?Neptune and Uranus are considered as charu grahas or shadow planets.

Times of India = NRN = Infosys?
Folks in Bangalore, This is something I am not able to figure out. Seem the front page of TOI bangalore edition? 'Exclusive' interview with the children of Narayan Murthy, ex-CEO of Infy! Well well well. From when did we require celeb's children to advise/share thier ideas? If that was not sufficient the centre page had a section of systematic investment by Sudha Murthy! Goodness! Finance by Sudha, Art of Living by Children and Sermons from NRN ! and all given great deal of publicity by TOI! Well I have great regard for NRN but he could have spared us this. But what can we say about Times of India. Just when you started to think , tabloid is the worst form of news paper and TOI and extreme version of this , do they come up with a story which would put even yellow papers to shame. Looking forward to your comments.

Power generation in India
India achieved a significant milestone in power generation by sync'ing power generation from North, East, South and western grids. Total grid capacity is assumed to 88,000 MW. This sync would eliminate blackout and rare cases of blackout grid is programmed to transfer power to deficient location. A great progress for India and congratulations to Power Grid corporation.

My blog my revenue
Was researching a lot on various new trends in the area of blogging. Newsvine, delicious and sundry other video sharing sites. Was't too comfortable with sites which allow you to vote and decide the news and claim you are the editor. Actually, this provides enormous opportunity for scamsters to vote and move topics of thier interest higher up the chain. Not sure if this revenue model will work. But google adsense has serious new contender in the form of payperpost. This upstart from Florida is providing serious money (or so it claims and a host of happy bloggers) to pay to review and link up to business. Looks like they want to gain more revenue from volume. Lets watch if google takes notice of this little fellow and change thier model.
